There's a new blog on the block.

I know All That Jazz is fairly new itself but the gorgeous Aimee is brand new to the world of blogging. However Beauty Rehab isn't like all the other blogs out there. Not only is Aimee a trained makeup artist and skin consultant she also has crazy amounts of talent. Her blog is still nothing more than a seedling but she is definitely someone to keep an eye on. I don't think she'll stay an unknown for very long. So if you fancy getting yourself some cosmetic counselling then head on down to the Beauty Rehab.

Grab a bargain.

The sales after Christmas are always a great time to pick up a bargain and this year is no exception. If you are a fan of perfumes keep your eyes peeled for the gift sets. Now that the festive period is over they are all heavily reduced and often a lot cheaper than the stand alone product.
While in Superdrug the other day the Michael Korres Very Hollywood gift set caught me eye.

With a 50ml perfume and a body lotion for just under £36 I was incredibly impressed. That was until I went in to Boots. I picked up the exact same gift set for £28.95. Not only is that an incredible saving just by going to a different store but the 50ml bottle on its own is £51.
So if your favourite perfume is running low or you fancy trying something new then head on to your nearest Boots store and see what little gems they have hidden away waiting just for you.

Are you Au Natural?

When it comes to going hair free every girl has her own preference, whether its waxing, shaving, plucking or threading .
I am personally a good old fashioned razor girl, however, being a 2 year singleton means some times I would rather slip in to a pair of leggings than spend ages running a razor over my legs every other day. I don't need to look at my legs and I sure as hell won't be waving them around for anyone else to see.
For those all important nights out when I need to put on a pretty dress and a cheesy smile I will whack out the old Venus razor, but it pains the lazy girl inside me every little stroke I take.
Waxing is not an option. I do not do pain. So epilating is out of the question as well then. There was really only one thing for it.
May I introduce the Remington Lady Shave.  Quick, simple and pain free. Perfect. Or is it?

Remington explain…
Two foils for double the efficiency and smoothness, leaving skin silky with less irritation. Specially designed for the contours of the female body for a close shaving results. You can shave your legs and even sensitive areas like the underarms and bikini line quickly and conveniently.

I have only used this a couple of  times but already my dream of super smooth legs in seconds are shattered. Although it covers a bigger area than the conventional razor I feel like I have to go over my legs just as many times. I’m not sure whether it is just me being over cautious but I also run the electric razor over my legs a lot slower than a regular disposable, therefore taking even longer than normal.
Another thing I would say about the razor is that it doesn’t particularly fit the contours of the female body as well as it would claim. I am yet to use this under the arms but I suspect it would be fairly easy to use however the bikini line is significantly more difficult.
On the plus side it can be used wet or dry which means I can sit and watch tv while shaving my legs making it slightly less boring and time consuming.
The instructions state the foils will need replacing every few months, depending on how often you use it, and that they are to be purchased through Remington however  they are yet to put the refills online which is a slight worry.
I feel this razor may become a close friend of mine as I get used to using it more. Once I have got the hang of the angles and speed it will become an altogether faster process.
If like me you are allergic to pain then the Remington Lady Shave may be the answer. At around £25 it works out a lot cheaper  than constantly having to buy new blades.
It wont give the super smooth result that waxing gives, and it may not be the second shave I was looking for but it is definitely going to replace my Venus.
