Think Thin

On my way to weight loss heaven I may have stumbled on a few steps.

I started off super positive and maybe slightly ambitious. I not only put myself on a fairly strict diet but I invested in weight loss pills, shakes and meal replacement bars.

After 3 days on diet pills and nothing but tummy trouble I decided that was enough. Suddenly changing my diet and filling my stomach with strange tablets was enough to send my body in to shock. I will however resume taking these at a later date. They are perfectly legal and all natural. They are just a way of speeding up your metabolism and getting a few extra vitamins and minerals.

The meal replacement bar is a whole other kettle of fish which I will be sharing with you very soon.

However after week one on the disaster diet I was able to lose 2.3lbs.  The only problem is, I found I was starving myself. I was hungry all the time. So I decided to snack more (on all good stuff obviously)

Tomorrow is week 2 weigh in and I can't wait to see the results (and then find lots of excuses for why they are so bad)

Are any of you on a weight loss mission at the moment? Tell me about your tips and tricks and we can loose together. (Then snack of celebratory cupcakes)

  1. Well done on your weight loss so far!

I follow the Slimming World plan and I have lost 8lbs in 6 weeks so far. I find eating little and often goes a long way...and having breakfast (which I can be so bad at some times!)

Also have 1 evening off a week (normally after a weigh-in) so I can treat myself to the extra glass of wine or something so I don't feel like I'm missing out :)

Fruit and veg are great foods for speeding up your metabolism!

    xx

  2. Well done on your weight loss!! It's so good every little pound helps! I find eating red grapes helps keep me sweet cravings in tact. For tips when i feel hungry, i always have a glass of water, cos 9/10 times im not hungry i'm thirsty. So for me that cuts out unnecessarily calories. Also little things like swapping white bread for brown, 1% milk instead of semi skinned, light margarine, etc, just picking the lighter options xx
